A 37-year-old man is dead after a Virginia Beach motorcycle accident.
According to a report from dailypress.com, the 37-year-old was riding his Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle on London Bridge Road in Virginia Beach when he was struck by a Lincoln Town car and thrown from his bike.
The report said the Virginia Beach driver of the Lincoln was charged with driving under the influence and had non-serious injuries.

According to a WJLA ABC 7 article, rescue crews evaluated three of the school bus’s passengers.

A 12-year-old girl was attacked by a pit bull when walking with a friend in Washington, D.C., WTTG-Fox 5 reports.
A nurse who lived close by helped the girl until an ambulance arrived and took her to Children’s Hospital. Washington, D.C., police and animal control captured the dog.
The girl is at home recovering with several stitches and a swollen cheek.
Washington, D.C., animal control impounded the pit bull and they have tracked down its owner. If an investigation finds the dog is dangerous, it could be euthanized.

My Fox DC reported a woman was killed in a Washington D.C. pedestrian accident early Saturday morning.
The woman was apparently jogging when she was involved in the Washington D.C. pedestrian accident. She was hit by a tractor-trailer at the corner of 14th Street and Constitution.
The identity of the woman who was killed in the Washington D.C. pedestrian accident was not released. Police reviewed footage of a surveillance camera and stated it was possible that the truck driver was unaware of hitting the woman.
Police are seeking witnesses who observed the Washington D.C. pedestrian accident. They are also trying to track down the truck that was involved.
