A 16-year-old boy was killed as a result of a Maryland bicycle accident early Friday morning, as reported by The Baltimore Sun.

The teenage boy was riding his bicycle on Route 108 when he was hit by a 26-year-old man driving a Nissan Altima.

Police arrested the driver and stated he was driving under the influence of alcohol when he caused the Maryland bicycle accident.

The Maryland bicycle accident victim was removed from life support on Saturday evening at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
