Two men injured in Maryland fire accident

The Herald-Mail reported a Maryland fire accident broke out in the 2nd story of an apartment building on Tuesday evening.

Fire officials rescued a 48-year-old man who was found unconscious at the scene of the Maryland fire accident. He was taken to John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center where he remains in critical condition with 2nd degree burns over 50% of his body.

A 47-year-old man was also rescued by a police officer at the scene of the Maryland fire accident. He was taken to Washington County Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Officials are still investigating the Maryland fire accident to determine the cause.
